Paint 12 little paintings you love. then share, gift, and even sell them for the holidays
Is your art still waiting for you?
You've carried the idea for a while now — the paintings you'd make "someday," when things slow down, when you feel ready, when you're finally good enough. I asked 162 women what was really standing in their way. Here's what they told me, in their own words.
Me. I get in my own way. Time.
My ability to let it not look perfect.
Worrying if they're good enough.
I want to get past that, stay playful, trust my own voice, and actually finish the work.
I hear you. That voice has kept your art waiting long enough.
Imagine how it will feel to paint again
Imagine sitting down at your own table with a brush in your hand and no one watching — just you, some color, and the quiet thrill of making beautiful art you didn't plan. The afternoon disappears. You look up and something is finished.
The perfectionism loosens its grip. You stop asking "is this good?" and start asking "what happens if I try this?"
Imagine a shelf of twelve finished paintings that are unmistakably yours — proof, in a stack, that you did the thing you kept promising yourself.
Join the Class TodayYou don't have to be good to do your art. You have to do your art to be good.
This fall, you'll finally finish
This class is designed just for creatives who are short on time, and need a boost back into their creative flow.
You'll make 12 little paintings, in fun 20 minute sessions. No single piece has to be perfect. Just keep going, and soon you're flowing.
Two lessons a week
A steady, doable rhythm so momentum carries you — do at your own pace, no pressure.
20 minutes at a time
A clear map from start to finish, laid out so you always know what's next. Just paint 20 minutes at a time.
A private community
Women painting at the same time as you, and sharing in our private facebook group for support.
A finish-line party
We celebrate together — a live zoom party in a few weeks, to share your favorites!
Imagine being seen as an artist
Twelve finished paintings aren't just yours to keep. A little bird on collage becomes the gift your sister hangs in her kitchen. A sweet forest becomes the piece a friend insists on buying. When the holidays arrive, you're the one with handmade, one-of-a-kind art to give — and, if you'd like, to sell.

You'll love this class if…
- You've been putting your art off for "someday" and you're ready for someday to be now.
- Perfectionism keeps stalling you before a painting is ever finished.
- You want to play, experiment, and loosen up — not copy a photo exactly.
- You'd love a warm community of women making art alongside you.
- You want finished work to gift or sell before the holidays arrive.
- Beginner or returning, you want a doable rhythm that actually gets you to the finish line.
Honestly? This class probably isn't for you if what you most want is to make realistic, exact copies of photographs. We paint loose, expressive, mixed-media work here — all about voice and play, not photorealism.

Every painting in this class makes you a better painter.
We start with the butterfly, where you'll learn how to choose colors you love. In the tree painting, we'll talk about good composition and contrast. With each project, you'll build up layers and transparencies and get comfortable with your materials. It all builds, one little painting at a time.
And I'll be encouraging you the whole way. With every painting, you'll grow stronger, more confident, and more capable. You'll also start painting from your own voice and making each painting truly yours.
Each lesson is broken into 20-minute sessions. So even on your busiest days, you can pop into your art room for 20 minutes and paint a little. By the end of the week, you'll have two finished paintings.
Every project is finished professionally, so you can proudly share, gift, or sell your paintings this holiday season.
By the end of 6 paintings, you'll see how much you've grown. By the end of 12, you won't believe it's your work.

Hi, I'm Kellie. Nice to meet you!
I'm a Mom, and a former US Forest Service Ranger and wildland firefighter turned mixed media painter, living and working in Colorado. For more than 17 years I've been showing and selling my paintings, and licensing my art with companies like Trader Joe's, with installations in Healthcare faciliites, football stadiums and more.
I'm a former Golden Paints Art Educator, and over the years I've mentored more than 300 women in finding their voice and becoming professional-quality artists. I know what it feels like to let your art wait. I also know how good it feels to finally paint again — and I'd love to do it alongside you.
What Artists Like You Had to Say
Real words from real women who stopped waiting and finished their paintings.
“With the process that Kellie teaches, I am able to get started on a work straight away without being paralyzed by the white canvas. I have produced NEW work that I feel good about ... I feel so MUCH more joy going to my studio now”
“I am no longer semi-blocked and procrastinatory about making time to create art. I experience 'flow': that combination of feeling challenged and enjoyment simultaneously. This is a good way to live!.”
“Now I feel that I can sit down at any moment and make art that I love using these techniques. Kellie is a strong woman that stands in her power and she brings that out in me too.”
Don't let another year go by
- Imagine how it will feel to paint again.
- Imagine a shelf of twelve finished paintings that are yours.
- Imagine being seen — finally — as an artist.
It starts with one small painting, 20 minutes at a time. I'd love to paint it with you.
With love and creativity,
Kellie
Your questions, answered
The 12 lessons are pre-recorded 20 minute or less videos you can watch anytime and rewind as often as you like. There are two live gatherings on Zoom — a meet and greet to kick things off, and a painting party to celebrate at the finish line. If you can't make them live, you'll get the recordings.
Totally fine. The two paintings I release each week is a guide, not a deadline. You have a full year of access to every art project, so you can catch up after a trip or a busy week and still finish all twelve. Life happens — the class waits for you.
Beginner to experienced. We start small and loose, and every project builds a skill step by step. Beginners thrive here precisely because the paintings are little and playful — there's no pressure to be "good," only to show up and paint. Many returning painters join too, to loosen up and find their voice again, get out of the box, and give fresh perspective to their paintings.
Your paintings will turn out more often than you expect. When one isn't working, I'll show you how to save it. A new layer, a fresh color, or a bit of collage can turn the painting you almost gave up on into a favorite. And honestly, some paintings just won't turn out. That happens to every artist, including me. That's the beauty of making 12. You don't have to love all of them, because you're sure to love some of them.
You can use what you have! You'll get a supply list when you enroll — acrylic paint, a few brushes, some collage papers, and small canvases or boards. Most of it you may already have. You can paint the whole class at your kitchen table.
We are making small and friendly paintings in this class — 6×6, or 8×8 inches work great, on deep-edged canvas or cradled board, or even heavy watercolor paper. Little paintings are far less intimidating than a big blank canvas, which is exactly why they're so easy to finish. And the best part is they can inspire larger paintings after the class!
Each painting takes one to two hours, with natural breaks so you can paint each project in a few 20-minute sessions.
